Founder’s Story

Born in Hyderabad, India, Rameez migrated to America at the age of 10, embracing a new culture while staying connected to his roots. After completing his education, he built a successful career in the corporate world, where he forged valuable relationships and gained invaluable experience. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa, a genetic eye condition that is gradually affecting his vision. Rather than letting this challenge define him, Rameez chose to pursue his passion and create something meaningful—Sarkar Bourbon. Inspired by his journey and the people he has met along the way, his mission is simple: to craft the finest bourbon, one that can be enjoyed by whiskey lovers around the world. Sarkar Bourbon is more than just a brand; it is a reflection of resilience, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence.
